Location: Mosinee, WI (Central Wisconsin)
Employment Type: Full-Time (40-45 hours/week, flexible)
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 (Yearly)

Position Summary

Complete Control Solutions (CCS), Inc., is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Automation Engineering Technician with a background in process-automation, preferably within the food and dairy industries. This individual will support a range of engineering and field activities, including electrical design, panel building, commissioning, and on-site customer support.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, technical leadership, attention to detail, and a willingness to work collaboratively across departments. You’ll be part of a fast-paced and supportive team that develops and implements automation systems for food processing clients throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to engineered drawings
  • Install, commission, and support automated process control systems at customer sites
  • Red line electrical drawings and collaborate with electrical design team to develop and maintain accurate electrical drawings
  • Perform service calls, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Assist with material procurement and create Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Interpret P&ID drawings and apply process knowledge in food and dairy environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and technicians on project execution.
  • Support ongoing client relationships with professionalism and technical insight.
  • Travel required (approximately 10-25%).

Qualifications

  • An associate degree in electro-mechanical, engineering, automation, or a related technical field (preferred). Relevant industry experience will also be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Field experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, or automation systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with industrial control components.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC/HMI systems and process instrumentation is a plus.
  • Understanding food/dairy processing or sanitary system design is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Salary & Reviews

  • Base Salary: $50,000-$80,000 (Commensurate with experience)
  • Pay Schedule: Biweekly (includes reimbursed expenses)
  • Annual performance-based salary reviews

  • Annual Bonus: Based on individual and company performance
  • Profit Sharing: Year-end 401(k) contribution based on company performance
  • Travel Bonus Policy: Additional compensation when overnight travel is required for project assignments
