We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces according to project specifications.
- Set up and dismantle formwork structures using carpentry skills and blueprint interpretation.
- Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete structures, following schematics and technical drawings.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate execution of concrete forms and placements.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for site preparation, formwork construction, and restoration work.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks like formwork construction and rebar installation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices and understanding of safety protocol adherence on active job sites.
- Skills in concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, caulking, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, roofing, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, welding, or masonry are highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required by project scope.
