Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity.
- Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant charging, pipe fitting, and leak detection.
- Operate welding equipment for repairs or modifications of metal components within HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations when handling refrigerants such as ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to heating and cooling infrastructure to support overall building operations.
- Drive company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to various job sites.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Proven service technician experience with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques relevant to HVAC applications.
- Skilled in appliance repair, boiler operation, and general equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience with field service operations across diverse environments; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; basic welding skills preferred.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance practices related to heating and cooling infrastructure.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
