Responsibilities Director of Nursing (DON):
- Provide leadership and oversight of the nursing department
- Ensure high standards of resident care and clinical performance
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company regulations
- Lead survey readiness efforts and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and support nursing managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
- Manage staffing, scheduling oversight, and clinical operations
- Support infection prevention, risk management, and policy implementation
- Foster a positive and accountable clinical culture
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and survey process
- Proven leadership experience within post-acute or long-term care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
