In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide product demonstrations and detailed information to enhance customer understanding.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Experience in retail sales, demonstrating an understanding of retail operations.
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently to enhance customer engagement.
- Supervisory skills are a plus for overseeing junior associates during shifts.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a broader customer base.
- Proficiency in retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
