Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair building mechanical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility equipment
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks
• Ensure equipment and systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance department policies
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Administrator
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous maintenance or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Computer knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  
  

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 1st Shift
• Emergency on-call rotation required
• Every other weekend required
