As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an important role in enhancing our residents' daily lives by ensuring meals are prepared, served, and delivered with care. Every meal is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
Dietary Aide Responsibilities
- Assist the Dietary Manager and Food Service Director with daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and serve meals under the direction of the cook or Food Service Director
- Deliver meal carts to resident units on schedule
- Clean food preparation areas, dining areas, dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment
- Stock food and supplies while monitoring inventory levels
- Dispose of food waste and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and compliance standards
- Adhere to all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dietary aide, food service, restaurant, healthcare, nursing home, or rehabilitation experience is preferred
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional service
