Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Admissions, nursing staff, dietary, activities, and Social Services to assist in the transition of new residents and their families to the facility.
- Chart Document any applicable required care and/or socialization, answer call lights and handle residents’ needs as appropriate within their scope of abilities.
- Communicate appropriately with Nurses and Aides regarding resident’s needs (i.e. medication requests, toileting, dietary needs, and any other requests that require special licensing/certifications to perform).
- Participate in resident individual and group activities.
- Complete other duties as requested by the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- One year experience in a customer service position.
- Experience in working with vulnerable adult population or equivalent.
- Specialized training or experience in geriatric care or gerontology is desirable.
- Must have High school Deploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background test.
