Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care.
- Implement compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.
- Responsible for surveillance, rounding, analyzing, interpreting, and the reporting of healthcare-associated infections.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long term care experience is required.
