Complete Care Management – Mid-Atlantic Region
Complete Care Management is seeking an experienced and compassionate Regional Director of Social Services to join our Mid-Atlantic leadership team. This role oversees and supports the social service departments across our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, ensuring excellence in resident care, regulatory compliance, and psychosocial outcomes.
Responsibilities:Provide mentoring, training, and ongoing support to facility-level Social Service Directors, Social Workers, and Social Service Assistants.
Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure quality of care and adherence to state and federal regulations.
Lead quality assurance initiatives and assist in developing corrective action plans based on survey findings.
Collaborate with facility leadership to address complex discharges, psychosocial issues, and abuse allegations.
Support facilities in resolving challenging cases, resident grievances, and discharge planning barriers.
Oversee compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies across facilities in the region.
Monitor state and federal regulation changes and implement updated best practices accordingly.
Analyze departmental metrics, including resident satisfaction, discharge outcomes, and grievance resolution timelines, and report findings to regional leadership.
Serve as a liaison between facility-level teams and regional leadership, fostering collaboration and consistency in service delivery.
Provide leadership support during crises such as natural disasters, pandemics, or significant adverse events to ensure residents’ psychosocial needs are met.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW preferred).
Current licensure as a Social Worker in applicable state(s).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a long-term care or healthcare social work setting.
Prior leadership or multi-site management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel regularly within the Mid-Atlantic region.
