Join us and become part of a family committed to your success.Position DetailsJob Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Shift SupervisorLocation: Complete Care at Sheridan Commons – Chicago, ILShift: Day ShiftPay: Competitive rates with the option for daily payWhy Work With Complete Care at Sheridan Commons?Competitive Pay: Recently increased pay rates and a unique daily pay option for immediate access to your earnings.Supportive Culture: You'll join a team of compassionate professionals dedicated to making a difference.Career Growth: We are committed to your professional development and provide opportunities to build a lasting and rewarding career.Key Responsibilities (LPN Focus)As the LPN Shift Supervisor, you will assist in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care in alignment with the RN supervisor's directives.Patient Care Coordination: Assist the RN supervisor in assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and coordinating with supervising physicians to ensure recovery goals are met.Supervision & Monitoring: Supervise assigned nursing staff (e.g., CNAs) and monitor the delivery of care on your assigned shift, ensuring duties are performed according to established protocols and guidelines.Clinical Tasks: Monitor medication distribution, observe blood drawing, and ensure other essential patient care tasks are performed accurately.Documentation: Assist in tracking treatments and patient progress, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with facility and HIPAA guidelines.Staff and Family Education: Provide educational information to staff, residents, and their families to promote best practices in healing and wellness.Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to ensure all operational duties are fulfilled and assist with other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.QualificationsLicensure: Must hold an Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.Experience: A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility is required.
