Unit Secretary Qualifications & Responsibilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required
Answer phones as necessary
Ability to work independently or part of a group
Computer knowledge
Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer resident call lights
Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible
Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manger
Transfer hospital appointments and schedule doctor appointments
Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
Unit Secretary Schedule & Benefits:
Schedule: part time, day shift
