Porter Qualifications & Responsibilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in long term care and EVS preferred but not required
Maintain the resident rooms including but not limited to cleaning restroom, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, and removing trash
Moves furniture to dry and wet mop floors
Dusts and cleans all furniture and fixtures
Terminal Cleaning of resident room upon transfer, discharge, or death
Cleans and empties trash in soiled utility rooms
Maintains facility appearance by cleaning all stairwells, washing windows in main lobby, offices, staff and resident lounges
Cleans and polishes elevators as needed
Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur
Restocks and maintains a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart
Ability to work independently or part of a group
