Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Southfeild MI. This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. The Warehouse Associate will operate warehouse equipment, assist with stock rotation, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow safety procedures. Daily tasks include verifying shipment contents, labeling and staging products, loading and unloading materials, and keeping work areas clean and orderly. The role involves regular collaboration with team members and may include support for retail operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in Shipping & Receiving processes, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Proficiency in Packing orders accurately and efficiently for safe transport.
- Ability to safely perform Unloading of trucks and handling materials in a warehouse environment.
- Skill in Forklift Operation for moving and organizing pallets and heavy items (certification preferred).
- Experience using a Pallet Jack to maneuver inventory and maintain proper warehouse organization.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy items, stand for extended periods, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or retail stock experience is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
