What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance / Small Machine Repair position at Complete Automation?
Complete Automation designs and builds state of the art fluid delivery systems. We are looking for a dependable, team oriented Facilities Maintenance / Machine Repair person to join our team at our Lake Orion, Michigan global corporate office in northern Oakland County.
Maintenance experience and good working knowledge of maintaining the following types of machines and troubleshooting:
- Electric, gas and diesel forklifts
- Scissor lifts, small engine repair, and air compressors
- Hand tools – electric and pneumatic grinders, drills, and sanders
- Welding – ARC, MIG, and Stick
- A good concept of hydraulics
- Heavy machinery such as back hoes, dozers, excavations, and bobcats
- Electrical knowledge and experience is a must
- Ability to test electrical systems and continuity using ohmmeters and voltmeters
- Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical wiring for industrial machinery and equipment
Do you have the following skills?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work outside in different weather conditions
- Mechanical ability and aptitude (experience working on vehicles and machinery)
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a team and individually with minimal supervision
- Attentive to details and organized
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Self-motivated, problem solver and has good follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of tooling with hands-on experience in maintenance of tooling
