Car Wash Customer Service Associate

Complete Auto Detailing LLC is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Car Wash Customer Service Associate to assist customers at our front counter and help keep our lobby running smoothly.

This is a part-time, seasonal position with the opportunity to grow into a permanent full-time position based on performance, reliability, attendance, customer service skills, and the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable greeting customers, operating a cash register, learning our services and prices, keeping the customer areas clean, and assisting the car wash team with light vehicle-washing duties when needed.

This is not a desk-only position. The employee must be willing to help in different areas of the business during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a friendly and professional manner
• Ring up customers accurately using the register or point-of-sale system
• Accept cash, credit card, and other approved forms of payment
• Provide receipts and return correct change when applicable
• Learn the car wash, detailing, add-on, and membership services listed on our website
• Clearly explain service options and prices to customers
• Answer basic customer questions in person and over the phone
• Direct customer concerns or complaints to a manager
• Keep the front counter, lobby, waiting area, restroom, and customer areas clean and organized
• Sweep, wipe down surfaces, empty trash, and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain a professional and welcoming appearance in the lobby
• Communicate customer requests and vehicle information to the wash team
• Help keep customer keys and paperwork organized according to company procedures
• Assist with light car-washing or vehicle-cleaning duties during busy periods
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manager instructions
• Complete other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance
• Able to learn and remember service packages and prices
• Comfortable handling cash and completing basic math
• Able to use a cash register, tablet, computer, or point-of-sale system
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Willing to clean and maintain the lobby and customer areas
• Willing to assist with light car-wash duties when necessary
• Able to remain professional during busy or stressful periods
• Previous cashier, front desk, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Car wash or automotive detailing experience is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

This position may require the employee to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, reach, and perform routine cleaning duties
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Work both indoors and near the outdoor car wash area
• Work around water, cleaning products, vehicle noise, and changing weather conditions
• Assist with light washing, drying, vacuuming, or vehicle-cleaning duties as needed

• Part-time and seasonal
• Schedule may vary depending on business volume and weather
• Employees must be flexible and available during busy periods
• Store hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Closed on Sundays

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
