Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lift Technician to join our install and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various types of lifting equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts , and material lifts.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment, including ohmmeters
- Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components to ensure optimal operation
- Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Collaborate with safety teams to ensure all work complies with OSHA and other regulatory standards
- Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical systems related to lift operations
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- If you have some experience from the list below, perfect, if not, that’s perfectly fine as well. Skills and abilities needed would be able to lift heavy objects, know how to use power tools and types of tools.
- Prior experience working with electrical systems and mechanical equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as an ohmmeter is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques
- Previous experience in lift or elevator maintenance is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
