Position Summary:The Level 3 Quality Control Inspector is a senior-level position responsible for the most technically demanding inspection work performed at CEI, including full surface plate layouts, new product introduction, and advanced CMM programming. This role serves as a senior technical resource on the inspection floor, resolves complex inspection problems independently, and mentors Level 1 and Level 2 Inspectors within an AS9100-certified quality system. Advancement to Level 3 is qualified by portfolio review of demonstrated work.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct full surface plate layouts, including castings and complex geometries
- Perform inspections using the air bearing table inspection gauge
- Conduct NPI first article, in-process, and final inspection
- Resolve first article and setup problems in direct partnership with setup and machining personnel
- Coordinate with engineering to develop inspection plans and CMM programs
- Lead and complete PPAP submissions
- Evaluate nonconforming material and recommend disposition for MRB review
- Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Inspectors
- Specialize in one or more designated areas: Technical Trainer, Documentation for All CEI Customers, CMM Programmer, or Contract Review
- Complete inspection and quality records accurately and in accordance with AS9100 standards
- Work safely in a precision manufacturing environment

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
