Compeer Contract Cleaning Services is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to help support our growth efforts. Compeer is a growing company and this is an opportunity to be a part of the growth.
The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the activities of sanitation technicians on evening shift with some weekends. The Sanitation Supervisor will primarily work their assigned shift and ensure that all cleaning activities meet the requirements of the customer. The work schedule is flexible as the Supervisor will be responsible for the overall performance of the team including meeting with the customer on the previous days performance. The normal schedule for this position is 5 days per week with most weekends off unless dictated by customer schedule.
The basic duties of the Sanitation Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Managing team members activities in multiple areas of a food processing facility.
- Managing deep cleaning activities as scheduled.
- Be mindful of production schedules to assist the Account Manager in planning cleaning events.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Be hands-on and work with the team. This is not an office position.
- Have great attention to detail. Inspection after cleaning tasks are completed is required.
- Cleaning and supervising experience
- Time and task management skills
- Janitorial, laundry, and custodial experience is preferred
- Commercial cleaning expertise in a food processing facility is preferable
- Leadership qualities are needed in this role
- Be a problem solver, ready and willing to think outside the box.
- Be a Team player who can follow as well as provide instruction to others.
- Complete nightly and weekly reports as required. Many reports are required for audit purposes.
- Be bi-lingual (Spanish) or able to communicate with multi-lingual personnel.
