Compassionate Wellness Center in Hagerstown, MD is looking for a psychiatric rehabilitation specialist to join our 13 person strong team. We are located on 44 N Potomac St Suite 101 & 102. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. We offer a start on bonus upon hire.
Responsibilities
.This PRP Specialist position is responsible for organizing program services and support to facilitate an individual’s recovery, including the ability to make decisions about life and create opportunities for choice in the home, school or work, and community.
2. Oversee the implementation of rehabilitation services.
3. Employ and supervise appropriate staff to conduct rehabilitation services to patients participating in the program.
4. Provide Orientation to new staff including coordinating forty (40) hours of training required for new recruits.
5. Review monthly staff billing/service logs for accuracy.
6. Review and sign patient’s daily contact notes/monthly progress notes and record in patient tracking record.
7. Educate direct service staff (Rehab Case Managers) on how to provide rehabilitation services to correlate to the goals identified in the individual’s IRP.
8. Conduct weekly staff meetings for planning and assessment of staff development and provide a copy of the staff meeting minutes to the Clinical Director for review.
9. Provide Clinical Director with a monthly report at the end of each month with a patient census report for PRP.
10. Conduct on-site training and coordination of off-site training when necessary.
11. Conduct intake/assessments/IRP development and Face to Face screenings with patient.
12. Enter authorizations/IRPs into Optum.
13. Assign caseloads to PRP staff.
14. Conduct on-going assessment of staff performance in the PRP program.
15. Liaise with clinical staff for acceptable referrals to the PRP Program.
16. Reinforce company policies; COMAR regulatory requirements, CARF requirements and other regulatory agency requirements.
17. Meet with Clinical Director weekly to present updates, discuss staff concerns, program concerns, and regulatory concerns.
18. Complete transition plans with PRP patients upon their completion of the program.
19. Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director.
Qualifications
Must be able to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
-Must be able to analyze case information and reach sound clinical decisions.
-Knowledgeable of the Washington County Area and community resources.
-Proficiency in utilization of MS Office Suite programs and Google applications.
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
-EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
-Licensure in the Social Work and/or related discipline (LGPC/LCPC or LMSW/LCSW-C)
-Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioners (CPRP)
-Or Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or related field with Behavioral Health.
-One (1) year of experience in administrative management within a behavioral health setting
-Must be able to pass a full background check.
-Must be able to pass a Child Protective Clearance (MD).
