We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge in orthopedics, geriatrics, home health and outpatient settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital medicine practices
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is a plus
