Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications following proper protocols, including medication administration
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, including those requiring dementia care
- Support individuals with mobility issues and transfers
- Engage in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to drive to client locations as needed
- Experience in senior care, or related fields
- Proficiency in meal preparation and following dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with home and community care practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
