Duties
- Deliver personalized in-home care tailored to each client’s unique needs, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks like laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status by observing changes or concerns and reporting them promptly to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and community engagement.
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans meticulously to ensure the well-being of each client.
- Document care provided accurately in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care is highly valued; experience in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma center environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical procedures, outpatient clinics, or sub-acute care enhances your ability to deliver exceptional care.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple clients effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and coordinate with family members or healthcare teams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for travel between client homes.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable
- A compassionate attitude coupled with patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
