Compassionate Friends Homecare, LLC is seeking an In-home caregiver for a client in Perry, OH. This position is approved for 20 hours per week through the VA. The client's care plan will be discussed upon hire.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to a client within their home. The ideal candidate will have experience with a Hoyer lift, caregiving and preferably hold an STNA license. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals who require assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals
Encourage nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs
Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment
Requirements
Previous experience in caregiving or related fields
Knowledge of geriatric care practices
Ability to work independently while following care plans
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and staff
Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care
Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable
Hoyer lift experience required
STNA highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
