Compassionate Friends Homecare, LLC is seeking an In-home caregiver for a client in Chardon, OH. This position is approved for 10 hours per week through the VA. The schedule would be Saturdays and Sundays 9a-2p. The client's care plan will be discussed upon hire.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean-living environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients in appointment scheduling and transportation arrangements when necessary
- Document care provided and communicate updates effectively with family members and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home care or related settings preferred; experience with geriatrics and Dementia care is a requirement
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules
- Knowledge of safety protocols for in-home caregiving environments
- Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous but not mandatory
