Compassionate Friends Homecare, LLC is seeking an In-home caregiver for a client in Warren, OH. This position is approved for 4 hours per week through the VA. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday nights, 9p-11p at a custom pay rate of $20 an hour. The client's care plan will be discussed upon hire.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and a genuine desire to provide dependable care. This role requires a blend of personal care, assisting the client into bed, light housekeeping and assistance with daily living activities.
Duties
Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
Reminders to take medications
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being
Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Communicate effectively with family members regarding the client's condition and needs.
Getting the client safely into bed, Hoyer experience required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in senior care, caregiving or home health is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
Patience, dependability, and a positive attitude are critical for success in this role.
Hoyer lift experience is required.
STNA highly desired.
Med certification highly desired.
