Compassionate Connections Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in the Mount Dora area.
As a Caregiver, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to seniors and individuals who need support in their homes. You will help clients maintain their independence, safety, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Support clients with incontinence care and other daily needs
- Provide medication reminders as permitted by the client's care plan and applicable regulations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
- Follow each client's individualized care plan and agency policies
- Communicate changes in a client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Complete required documentation and shift notes accurately and on time
- Participate in required training and ongoing education
Requirements
- No previous caregiving experience required — previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Passion for providing high-quality care and helping others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Must be willing to complete all required onboarding and training
- AHCA Level 2 background screening required
- Must meet all applicable employment and agency requirements
- Must be available to work assigned shifts
Schedule & Availability
Caregiver coverage is needed between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, 7 days a week.
Applicants should have availability within these hours. Specific shifts and schedules will be assigned based on client needs and caregiver availability.
AHCA Level 2 Background Screening
Candidates must successfully complete the required AHCA Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening before working independently with clients.
Florida AHCA background screening requirements and information will be provided as part of the onboarding process.
