We are looking for a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in Senior Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or other locations, preparing specimens for testing, and accurately documenting patient information. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to follow safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling to different locations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and other blood collection procedures on patients of all ages.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data and specimens collected.
- Follow safety protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Must be willing to run STATS / be ON CALL on scheduled days.
- Must have reliable transportation.
