Compassionate Care is a Nurse Registry providing home health services throughout Palm Beach County, seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) & Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team as an Independent Contractor.

If you are a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) interested in registering with Compassionate Care, please apply below! A team member will contact you to discuss your availability, qualifications, preferences, and review all documents required to be registered with the Nurse Registry. Once you have all your required documents, a team member will schedule a date and time to come in and complete your registration.

Responsibilities of Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Include, but are not limited to assistance with:

· Activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, bathing/showering, grooming, oral care, dressing, eating, toileting/incontinence care, transferring and assistance with ambulation, etc.

· Meal Preparation

· Light Housekeeping

· Transportation & Errands

· Medication Reminders

· Alzheimer's / Dementia Care

· Stimulation Activities

Qualifications:

· Ability to carry out directions, read, and write

· Must be able to lift and transfer (Hoyer Lift Experience a plus)

· Maturity and ability to deal effectively with demands of the job

· Reliable and Dependable

· Have a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the individuals we serve

Specific Companion Caregiver Duties for Case Include, but are not limited to:

· Seizure Protocols

· Provide incidental transportation for clients which includes errands, appointments, stores, etc.

· Medication Reminders

· Provide Companion to Client

· Safety/ Fall Precaution

Required Documents:

· Driver’s License

· Social Security Card

· Employment Authorization Card (If Applicable)

· Vehicle Registration

· Vehicle Insurance (Must be in your name OR you must be listed as an additional driver)

· CPR (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross & active)

· CEUs (Alzheimer’s/Dementia, HIV/AIDS, Assisting with Meds- 4hrs)

· Physical within the past 6 months stating that you are “free of all communicable disease” **

· TB test or Chest X-Ray (Within the last 2 years)

· CNA License or HHA Certificate (Must be verifiable) *

· Palm Beach County “Home Caregiver ID Badge” (HHAs Only)

· AHCA Level II Background Screening and Fingerprinting

· Liability Insurance (MUST be obtained upon registration) ***
