Position
We are currently seeking to fill the Orders Runner position in Kern County and Surrounding Areas:
- Compensation:
- Hourly (negotiable: based on experience, skill level, availability, etc).
- Opportunity to accumulate overtime.
- Responsible to meet Agency, State and Federal deadlines for obtaining physician signature of medical orders and will follow up with providers to insure return of delinquent medical orders
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow written and routine delivery instructions.
- Utilize Google Maps to map routes efficiently..
- Follow direction and complete tasks with little to no supervision.
- Comfortable driving for long periods of time in various conditions.
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle if one is available.
- Practice safe driving habits, following all traffic rules and regulations.
- Must be honest, reliable and hardworking.
- Must have a great attitude and effective communication skills with coworkers, management and referral sources.
- If needed, available for overtime.
- Assists in building community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Compassionate Care Home Health Agency as a high quality provider of services.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma, sometimes combined with medical assistant certification
- Solid faxing and computer skills; familiarity with computerized documentation systems
- Able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to think critically
- Dependable
- Customer service background
- Valid California's driver's license.
- Clean DMV record.
