This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Bakersfield, CA. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans to support patients' rehabilitation, providing hands-on therapy to improve motor and daily living skills, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role includes tailoring occupational therapy interventions to individual needs and monitoring patient progress toward recovery goals.
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy, with expertise in rehabilitation techniques
- Foundational understanding of Medicine and its application in patient care
- Experience working with Pediatrics in a therapeutic setting
- Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California
- Ability to work compassionately and effectively with diverse patient populations
- Experience in home health care or hospice settings is a plus
