What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at Compassion Collective MN?
Join Compassion Collective
Independent Clinicians & Holistic Practitioners — Minneapolis
Who We Are
Compassion Collective is an integrative clinical and wellness space opening this fall in the Minneapolis area. We're not a traditional group practice or office rental — we're a collective. Independent clinicians and holistic practitioners run their own practices here, supported by shared infrastructure, a trauma-informed culture, and a community that believes in doing this work together rather than in isolation.
We're intentionally staying small. We're not chasing rapid growth — we're building a space where practitioners actually know each other, refer to each other organically, and share in community-building, not just a building.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome two kinds of members:
Clinicians wanting full infrastructure — therapists, counselors, and mental health practitioners who want support with insurance billing, scheduling, credentialing, and referrals, in addition to space.
Practitioners wanting space and community — clinicians and holistic practitioners (bodywork, massage, Reiki, acupuncture, and related modalities) who mainly want access to office space, a mailbox, and the community, without the full infrastructure package.
Pre-licensed practitioners are also welcome, and can build supervision hours simultaneously through our partnerships.
What Membership Includes
Every tier includes:
Insurance billing support
Cross-referrals within the collective
Scheduling infrastructure
Access to our two community-building spaces
Workshops, groups, and shared learning opportunities
A trauma-informed, practitioner-led culture
Hybrid therapy and somatic rooms (tier-dependent)
Membership runs on a flat monthly rate (with a small percentage split), with tiers ranging from fully virtual/space-optional options up through dedicated office hours of 8–30 hours/week.
A subleasing/space-only path is also available for practitioners who just want office and community access.
What We Ask
Independent contractor status — you set your own schedule and caseload
Your own professional liability insurance
A collaborative spirit — we're a community first
Interested?
We offer a free 15-minute call for anyone who wants to learn more or explore whether Compassion Collective is the right fit — no pressure, just a conversation about what you're looking for and how we might work together.
Compassion Collective accepts all insurances and offers sliding scale rates. We currently have availability for new clients, including preteens and teenagers.
