Compass Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced and driven Hospital Manager to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity for a servant leader with a strong veterinary background who is passionate about developing people, strengthening medical leadership, and driving hospital growth and efficiency.
As Hospital Manager, you will partner closely with our Medical Director, collaborate with our three doctors, and lead our support team. This role is centered around people leadership and administrative oversight, while also staying connected to daily hospital operations and stepping in to support the team as needed. You will help guide the growth and development of the clinical team through structured training, coaching, and accountability, while also advancing hospital initiatives, improving workflow efficiency, and identifying opportunities for continued growth within the practice.
Schedule, benefits and compensation**:
This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.
- Compensation package: $70,000 - $80,000/ based on experience
- $2,000 hiring bonus package for CVPMs or CVTs
- CE allowance: $1,000 annual allocation for CVPMs

Qualifications:
- 5 years of prior leadership / management and veterinary experience required; CVPM a plus!
- Proven success in delivering employee evaluations, developing training programs, mediating conflict, and de-escalating clients in emotionally charged situations
- Experience managing the development and growth of teams
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and strong conflict management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets such as revenue and payroll, required
- Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
