What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech-Language Pathology Assistant position at Compass Therapy Solutions?
Compass Therapy Solutions is currently hiring an SLP or SLP-Assistant for the School year to join a school district in Willard, MO.
Provides Speech Language services under the direction of a Speech Language Pathologist; provides direct services to families and children; conducts consultation with other providers.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and goals.
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to improve communication.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, and other professionals, to ensure educational benefit and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, IEPs, progress notes
Qualifications:
Speech Language Pathologist:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- State Licensure through Missouri Board of Healing Arts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred)
Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA):
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Clinical experience working with communication disorders preferred.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
