Quality ManagerLocation: Columbus, OhioA global manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations at its Columbus, Ohio facility. This role will champion the company’s commitment to excellence by driving product consistency, system compliance, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.Primary ResponsibilitiesPartner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective quality management systems that meet internal and external standards.Develop and refine product and process specifications to support ongoing improvement in performance, safety, and reliability.Manage and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and related quality certifications, coordinating audits and corrective actions as necessary.Set and monitor quality standards for suppliers and raw materials to ensure consistency throughout the supply chain.Oversee inspection and testing of materials and finished products to confirm compliance with established requirements.Lead and mentor quality staff, fostering accountability and continuous learning within the department.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.Analyze quality metrics and perform data-driven evaluations to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization.Gather and evaluate customer feedback to confirm satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.Prepare comprehensive quality reports for senior management and propose corrective or preventive measures.Promote a culture of excellence by developing innovative procedures that enhance efficiency and product reliability.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Working knowledge of quality control principles, ISO standards, and data/statistical analysis tools.Demonstrated experience managing or auditing ISO-certified quality systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.Excellent project management and organizational abilities.Company DescriptionAbout CTI: Compass Tech International (CTI) is dedicated to providing the highest quality Staffing, Recruiting and Managed Services to our customers nationwide, to create greater efficiencies, better results and effective communications to improve their talent access and worker effectiveness while finding solutions for workflow and process improvement.Talk today to your Compass Tech recruiter.
