What You’ll Do:

• PCBA & Electronics Rework: Perform high-precision rework on complex PCBAs, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT/THR) components, precision soldering, and detailed visual inspections.
• Harness Fabrication & Rework: Build, modify, and repair custom wire harnesses, utilizing professional techniques for crimping, assembly, de-pinning, and routing.
• Test Supervision & Execution: Oversee and conduct routine electrical, thermal, and functional testing alongside the engineering team, ensuring precise data collection and adherence to test protocols.
• Lab Management & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked engineering lab. Serve as a champion for general EE lab safety, actively managing risks related to high voltage, thermal hazards, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the go-to technical resource for the primary EE team and any adjacent teams requiring electrical support for active projects.

What You’ll Need:

• PCBA Expertise: Proven experience with advanced PCBA rework, including expert-level manual soldering (SMT and Through-Hole) and standard inspection procedures.
• Harness Assembly: Strong proficiency in wire harness rework, including the proper use of precision crimping tools, connector assembly, and de-pinning techniques.
• Lab Safety Culture: Comprehensive knowledge of standard electrical lab safety practices, with specific familiarity handling high-voltage systems, monitoring thermal environments, and enforcing strict ESD controls.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and technical rework instructions with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, project managers, and external team members. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
