Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for reviewing, processing, and reconciling daily sales transactions from CCore to Great Plains, including both automated and manual invoices.
• It manages customer cash receipts, resolves deductions or offsets, and ensures accurate reconciliation of the accounts receivable subledger to the general ledger each month.
• The position monitors AR aging follows up on past due accounts, and prepares and distributes monthly customer statements while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Additional duties include preparing month end and payroll journal entries, processing weekly 401(k) transactions, and maintaining bank and customer account information.
• The role supports internal controls and financial audits by providing requested documentation and coordinating offsite record storage.
• It also provides backup support for Accounts Payable, participates in monthly accounting meetings, and performs other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Advanced Excel, Accurate Data Entry, Invoicing, Account Reconciliation, Analysis.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 – 5 years of related accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred.

Other

• Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
• Must hold and maintain current driver's license.
