The Readiness & Training Analyst serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of NSWG-11 N3 operations. This role provides critical support in Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) activities, Reserve training curriculum development, and the planning and execution of both long- and short-term training initiatives.
The Analyst collaborates closely with the Plans Officer to support training exercises, validate operational requirements, and assist in administering High-Risk Training (HRT) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) programs. This position ensures accurate documentation and tracking of all training and exercise completion within required systems.
Required Qualifications:
Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Journeyman Instructor certification

- Support NSWG-11 Defense Readiness Reporting (DRRS) processes and maintain readiness dashboards
- Develop and maintain Reserve Training Curriculum and associated training scopes
- Collaborate with the Plans Officer to support exercise planning and execution
- Assist in ensuring compliance across NSWG-11 training programs
- Validate operational training and equipment requirements, including support to RIB inputs
- Develop and execute both long-term and short-term training plans
- Support administration, inspection, and execution of High-Risk Training (HRT) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) programs
- Ensure all training and exercise completions are accurately recorded in required systems
- Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports, including FTE hours by support category
- Provide certification and licensing documentation as requested
- Safeguard government-furnished equipment and sensitive information
- Ensure adherence to physical security requirements
- Support continuity of operations to minimize service disruption during personnel transitions
- Comply with all applicable security and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements, including DD254 guidance, NIPR/SIPR access protocols, base access procedures, and incident reporting
- This role may include occasional OCONUS (outside the continental U.S.) travel in support of operational and program needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Prior military experience at the Senior Chief (E-7) level or above (SOC or SBC preferred)
- Experience executing High-Risk Training evolutions within Naval Special Warfare (NSW)
- Completion of NSW Range Safety Officer (RSO) training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to operate government vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to write in military format
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail
- Commitment to professional standards and compliance with Federal, DoD, Navy, and USSOCOM policies
Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Journeyman Instructor certification
Security And Compliance Requirements
- Adherence to DD254 security requirements and handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to NIPR/SIPR systems and military installations
- Compliance with Drug-Free Workplace requirements, including random drug testing
- Immediate reporting of safety incidents, mishaps, or security breaches in accordance with FAR 252.223-7004
- Ability to perform duties in both office and operational/training environments
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer workstation
- Frequent use of hands for typing, handling equipment, and operating tools or controls
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach as required during training support activities
- Adequate vision (close, distance, and focus adjustment) and hearing to safely perform job duties
- Work environment may include moderate noise levels and dynamic operational settings
