Overview: Orthopaedic Institutute Surgery Center is seeking a Materials Manager to join our team! We are a state of the art multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center in Metropolis, IL.
Description: The Materials Manager determines and maintains appropriate inventory levels to meet the requirements of scheduled procedures, ensures high-quality supplies are obtained, at best available pricing whenever practical, and assists with negotiation of vendor pricing.
What we are seeking:
· Prior professional experience working with health care systems and/or health care providers in a surgical setting.
· Four-year college degree (preferred), or high school diploma or GED with equivalent years of materials-management experience, required.
· ENVI experience required
·Working knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
· Scrub Tech experience, preferred
