Summary: In this position, as a Project Manager you will lead a team of government contract employees in support of a government contract with a federal law enforcement agency’s Asset Forfeiture program.

Active Public Trust security clearance/or ability to attain Public Trust clearance required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Compass Strategy Solutions (CSS) requires a Project Manager in the Washington DC area to support a federal law enforcement entity in their Asset Seizure and Forfeiture program.

Essential Duties:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of contract employees under a contract to support a federal law enforcement agency in its efforts to combat criminal activity through Asset Forfeiture program support.
  • Have a working knowledge of the duties of all positions listed and the daily operations of each area of responsibility.
  • Accountable for contract operational execution, performance, contractual compliance, customer relations, and strategic planning for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure staff training meets all contractual requirements.
  • Understand the legal processing requirements of all types of forfeiture.
  • Provide required Security forms for qualified replacement(s) within fourteen days of an employee’s unavailability to perform due to resignation, termination, or anticipated extended leave, unless an exception is granted in writing from the COR.
  • Responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity, and responsible for taking such disciplinary action against the contractor’s employees as necessary.
  • Ensure contract employees are submitting their tasking timely.
  • Identify any issues with staff performance and develop both short-term and long-term solutions to address the matter.
  • Work with the Government Customer Program Manager to coordinate workload.
  • Ensure that required staffing levels are met to maintain workload.
  • Pre-screen all applicants, provide to the Government Customer for review and coordinate the Government Customer’s efforts to evaluate the applicant.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual staffing reports.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (POC) between the Government Customer and the contractor.
  • Other duties as mission needed and within the scope of this contract requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience as a Project Manager of similar projects involving data analysis, legal assistance, training and recruitment related to asset forfeiture.
