Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
• Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and floor buffing to maintain pristine conditions
• Operate floor buffers and other specialized cleaning machinery safely and effectively for optimal floor care
• Follow safety protocols during chemical handling and manual handling tasks to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety procedures
• Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep of the premises
• Maintain cleanliness standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and documenting completed tasks accurately
• Support team members with heavy lifting and safe lifting practices during the movement of supplies or equipment

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work with a focus on commercial or residential environments
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools efficiently
• Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy objects or equipment
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants when needed
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Janitorial Service has openings for part time cleaners in the Conshohocken area.

The schedule will be 5 days per week: Monday through Friday; 6pm to 8:00pm or 6pm to 10pm.
We are flexible on the start time.
Looking for detailed individuals that take pride in their work.
Potential candidate must have own transportation and will need to pass a state background check.
Job will entail collecting trash, cleaning restrooms, dusting, vacuuming and wet mopping tile floors.
You will also be responsible for locking and securing buildings.
