We are seeking a talented and ambitious Data Specialist to join our product data team. In this role you will
- Accurately input, verify and maintain crop input data from multiple sources
- Analyze crop input documents to identifying patterns, trends, variations, and ensure data quality
- Implement QA/QC protocols to validate data accuracy, consistency and completeness
- Work closely with the product data and technical team to maintain high standards of data quality and integrity within the database, including data obtained using AI models
- Collaborate with the Head of Product Data to establish and document procedures for data collection, entry, process improvement, and quality assurance
- Regularly audit data to identify potential errors and suggest corrective actions
- Share in building a community that promotes curiosity and innovation
- 5 years of education or experience in an agriculture related field
- Understanding of crop inputs, with emphasis on pesticide labels and basic knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Proficiency in data collection, conversion, integrity, quality control and communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- In-field or regulatory environment experience is a plus, though not required
