Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Home Health Aide Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.
Home Health Aide:
- Performs personal care activities, including but not limited to:
- Bathing
- Shampooing
- Skin care/nail care
- Oral hygiene
- Shaving
- Dressing
- Reports any observed or reported changes in the client's condition and/or needs to the Registered Nurse or Therapist.
- Follows reporting guidelines in the Care Plan.
- Documents care provided and completes the forms required for the client's records.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Attends in-service programs to meet compliance requirements. Identifies learning needs to Agency supervisor.
Home Health Aide Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility
- Must have a CNA license or HHA Certification
