What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Compass Oncology?
Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours

JOB SCOPE: With supervision, manages the talent acquisition process, including but not limited to, candidate advertising, sourcing, interviews, candidate selection, offer process, and onboarding. Provides other Human Resources generalist activities to support management staff and employees. Performs business activities in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, philosophies, objectives and legal requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, review openings, and advise on talent strategy.
- Source candidates through job boards, databases, employee referrals, social media, networking, and career events.
- Screen resumes and conduct prescreen phone interviews to evaluate fit before presenting candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate onsite interviews, including shadow opportunities, and facilitate smooth communication between candidates and staff.
- Perform reference checks, initiate background investigations, and verify licenses as needed.
- Extend job offers and coordinate offer package preparation with appropriate approvals.
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state recruiting laws.
- Own the onboarding process, including monitoring background checks, completing new hire documentation (I-9s, licenses, etc.), and entering employees into Workday.
- Support New Employee Orientation as needed.
- Assist with job description updates, exit interviews, and HR generalist tasks (Leave Administration, HRIS, Employee Events).
- Develop partnerships with local schools and coordinate student experiences and job shadowing.
- Coordinate Temporary Staffing and Employee Referral programs.
- Pull recruiting metrics and reports to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Experience/Training:
- Minimum of (3) years prior recruiting experience, Healthcare a plus.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with iCIMS strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of recruiting practices including interviewing, reference checks, background checks, and license verification.
- Basic knowledge of federal and state laws governing equal employment opportunity.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Workday experience a plus!
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and impeccable customer service mindset.
- Must be able to efficiently prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, solid judgment, maturity, personal integrity, and confidentiality.

Salary : $72,000 - $115,000
