Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus or van on designated routes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record CDL CLASS C W PASS
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Experience in childcare or working with children preferred
- Previous experience as a bus driver, van driver, or in paratransit services is advantageous
