Compass Land & Title is seeking an experienced Title Processor to join our growing team in the Tampa Bay area.
This role is ideal for someone who understands Florida real estate transactions and can confidently manage files from contract to close. This is not an entry-level position. Prior title processing experience is required.
If you’re organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working directly with lenders, Realtors, underwriters, buyers, and sellers, this position offers stability, strong deal flow, and a professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Process residential real estate files from open to close
- Review and organize contracts, title commitments, surveys, estoppels, and HOA documents
- Order and track title work, payoffs, municipal searches, and HOA items
- Communicate regularly with lenders, Realtors, buyers, sellers, and underwriters
- Prepare files for closing and coordinate with closers
- Ensure all files are accurate, compliant, and on schedule
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently to keep closings on track
Requirements (Must Have)
- 2 years of experience as a Title Processor (Florida transactions required)
- Strong understanding of Florida real estate contracts and timelines
- Experience working with lenders and title underwriters
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a high-volume title or real estate environment
- Familiarity with SoftPro or similar title software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
