We serve the affluent market in the mid-Atlantic region and beyond, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, quality, and detail. Our main products are custom high-end gates, fences, railings, and staircases for the upscale residential market. From country estates in Chester County, to Luxury apartments in NYC, to beach houses on the on the Eastern Shore; every project is unique.

Job Opening For CAD Designer/Draftsman:

Here at Compass Ironworks, we are experiencing a significant spike in demand for our level of craftsmanship. We are currently in need of a CAD Designer/Drafter that seeks to improve himself, and add value to our team as he assists designing beautiful metal fabrications for our affluent clientele.

We are looking to hire someone with CAD/Drafting experience. Formal education is a bonus but not required. Knowledge of welding/fabrication would also be very helpful, but not required. As a CAD Designer/Drafter, you will:

- Create 2-D and 3-D drawings in FabCAD or Rhino for client approvals.

- Measure (on an as needed basis) projects in the field using measuring devices, lasers, etc..

- Create clear shop drawings of approved projects for production.

- Assist in advising clients on best approaches for their project needs.

- Brainstorm and dialogue with team for best approach to building complex projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Compensation Package:

• Overtime pay

• Gap, PA 17527: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:
