Corcoran Sunshine is seeking a Research Intern to join our New Development team in the New York office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with creative visionaries in architecture, design, and real estate, as well as highly regarded multi-disciplinary marketing and sales teams on new real estate developments. The Research Intern will work closely with the Research team to provide market intelligence, supporting our clients from the planning stages through sellout. Job Duties:
- Gather and analyze relevant data on the residential real estate market
- Create and update comparable studies and market reports
- Join building tours, visit sales offices and attend events
- Undertake ad-hoc research projects, such as analyses of submarkets, building features, amenities, buyer profiles, etc.
- Communicate findings to colleagues, senior management, and clients
Requirements:
- At least one year of academic and/or practical experience in market research
- Demonstrated interest in real estate, economics, and/or urban planning preferred
- Proficiency in corporate and client communications
- Ability to research, understand, and document market trends
- Strong Excel skills and general proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- Proactive nature with the ability to coordinate and effectively handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and strong attention to detail
