Job Summary
As the Director of Food & Nutrition Services, you will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Nutrition Services Department within a long‑term care facility that is part of the Cape Cod Healthcare system. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, ensure high‑quality resident dining experiences, and maintain strong client relationships. This role is responsible for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and fostering a positive service culture aligned with resident‑centered care.

Job Summary

- $1.4M Managed Volume
- Oversee all financial aspects of the department, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with the client and facility leadership.
- Partner with the Chef and management team to deliver nutritious, high‑quality meals that support clinical needs and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Implement new culinary and service initiatives in collaboration with company culinary and marketing teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company, the client, residents, and the broader community.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and sanitation standards, including state, local, and long‑term care guidelines.
- Lead, train, and develop staff to support strong performance, engagement, and service excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of foodservice management experience, ideally within healthcare, long‑term care, or senior dining.
- Experience in resident dining or institutional foodservice highly preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build teams and drive results.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
