Financial Analyst - Skilled Nursing Facility - Healthcare

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Financial Analyst for a management organization that specializes in managing healthcare skilled nursing facilities through innovative management and data-driven decision making. Office located in Queens, NY. Candidate must be able to commute to the Queens office a minimum of 4 days per week, and has ability work 1 day remote from home. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of leveraging advanced analytics to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and operational finance department efficiency. This role involves designing predictive models, leading financial analysis initiatives, and providing strategic insights that enhance organizational performance and growth. Qualified candidates will have extensive Financial Analyst experience within For-Profit Healthcare; Skilled Nursing Facility environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting Performance Metrics:

• Gather and analyze historical data from previous months and years to forecast future performance.
• Develop predictive models to estimate occupancy rates, revenue projections, and other key performance indicators for upcoming months and years.

Cost of Acquisition Analysis:

• Calculate the cost of acquisition per resident by analyzing expenses versus reimbursements.
• Provide insights into the financial impact of marketing and outreach activities aimed at resident acquisition.

Expense Efficiency Analysis:

• Analyze operational data to identify areas where expenses can be reduced without compromising service quality.
• Detect anomalies in spending patterns and propose actionable solutions to address them.

Reporting and Visualization:

• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and assisted-living management.
• Suggest and implement process improvements based on analytical findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the skilled nursing facility sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
